MEMORIES!!!

And here's the post with the random pictures I downloaded.

Car Show
This is such a lame mom thing to do, but I'll do it...Henry & Jane looking like a future couple.

And now Cole and Caroline, although, this is a pretty big age difference here.

After the car show, the boys and I took a ride in Mike's Buick. This thing is fast. Gus and Lou cry every time they hear him turn it on across the street. Very loud.

Kristin and I are rarely in pictures, so I thought I'd post these. This also shows my life of constantly having kids on top of me.

Sitting together
These two fight a lot, but they are still constantly sitting by or basically on top of each other whenever they do stuff.

Cole got to go to his first Packer game.

Scout bonfire
Cole got to partake in a flag retirement ceremony. I think Henry was jealous and asked the head Scout guy if he could do it next year.

Ninja Fun Run 2019

Cole and I did the Tonawanda Ninja Fun Run a couple weekends ago. It rained, but that probably made it even more fun (for the kids).

I completed most of the stations they had setup, but no way was I going to try and crawl through sand under some picnic tables. I'm pretty sure all parents skipped this one. The other one I skipped, I took an old man exemption because no one else was there and it seemed weird for me to do a bunch of burpies by myself with some high school volunteers watching. For the record, I could have done it.

Admittedly, I will have to start working out because running two miles should not have been such a challenge for me. It also makes me nervous because I'm going to have to do the shit when the twins are older. So in 6 years, when I'm 45, I need to be in better shape than I am now. Not likely.

Henry had basketball tryouts, which is why he is not pictured below. He was nervous about making the team, but as Kristin said, "they took our money, so I don't think you have to worry."

Cole and his crew

Who's Who

I'm guessing in the future it will be difficult to tell who is who in pictures. It can be hard now, but usually we can figure it out. I also don't usually label pictures, so I'll try to do it now. I got most, but I'm not positive on all of these. Bigger question, Does it even matter?

Lou, I think.

Gus?

Gus is the mad one, Lucifer is stealing his shit.

Gus left, Lou right

Gus

Lou
Gus

Usually Lou is smacking Gus in the head with a toy, but this time he just went with a gentle pat on the head. Hopefully this continues before Gus has brain damage.
Lou looking up on the left.

About 60% sure this is Gus.

Hmmm, Lou maybe.

Gus left. Lou right.

End of Summer/Start of School

We really packed in a bunch of stuff for the last weekend of the summer. It was busy, but a good way to end it.

Fishing with Ryan
Ryan took the boys and I fishing again. We went to Silver Lake, so we also got to check out Ryan's new place. We're all excited about that.

I still can't believe it (kinda), but I forgot the boys life vests. Luckily, Ryan had Mac and Maren's in the truck. Not so lucky for Cole and Henry, one was pink. They were good about taking turns with the pink vest though.

Fishing prep

I thought this would be the smallest bass of the day, but Cole crushed it.

Just a couple dudes on a bench swing.

Now that's a tiny bass.

The boys made Ryan a fishing lure key-chain as thank you for the trip. They instantly planned to turn into a business, but I think they lost interest by the next day.

Tubing
We also took the pontoon out and went tubing out on Okauchee Lake.

BBQs
We went to a BBQ at the Normal's (a.k.a. Gregg & Debbie).

And later that day a BBQ at the Dworak's (Cole's best friend's house). No pics though.

Brewer game
Finally we ended the long weekend with a trip to Miller Park.

And now the classic, typical school pics that we all take...

Another year and another great letter board design by me.

I believe Cole has Gus and Henry has Lou.
