Rando Pics and captions

Pictures and captions...

I'm realizing that we won't be able to tell the twins apart in pictures down the road, so here and there I will try to label them 'G' or 'L.'

We took the twins to Tonawanda. They were a big hit, especially with the boys (as pictured below at a return visit).

Gus puked in his carseat requiring a full blown washing and reassemble. This is the last piece I couldn't figure out and had to send Kristin a pic of. She knew what it was and were it went right away.

Gus now takes off his diaper on his own. We forgot to warn Debbie and he did it while she wasn't looking at he had just pooped. Caught him brown handed. It sounded like it was quite a mess. Sorry DJ.

We can't figure out how to keep them off the fireplace.

This is a low, even for Kristin. Ham balls. Wtf.

Happy haircut day.

Brothers don't shake hands, brothers hug.
And pull hair and bite. This is Gus on Lou violence, but Lucifer Lou has been hitting Gus in the head a lot. He'll find hard objects, like a Weeble, hit him in the head and then laugh about it. It's been nice to see Gus in more of an attack mode lately. Lou will also takes Gus's water, look at you and then with an evil smile take a sip. He's a naughty little jerk.

Gus fell out of his crib, so Kristin got this contraption. He cried so we took it off right away. Now we can't get the thing folded and back in it's bag, so it sits flopped open in the basement. I'm guessing it will stay there for a year or two.

Recent Activities

Well, we've had a Father's Day, our first fishing morning (at the EG pond), a weekend with no plans (the most amazing thing ever) and rocked the SJV Fest. These are in no particular order.

Father's Day
Only one pic from the Father's Day party at our house. It was fun. You'll have to take my word for it.

Free Day and Fishing
A weekend with no plans. Impossible you say. Well it actually happened. It was quite nice. Lots of hanging out and a water gun/balloon fight, which I think was the highlight.

Ugh, hooked into my first EG bass at the pond and it spit the hook about 8 feet from the dock. I was pretty upset, but getting over it. This was probably my second go for bass, so I plan to ramp up the efforts and snag one at our next trip.

Otherwise, the goal is usually to try and catch the smallest fish (via rod or net).

Game with the neighbors

This is Henry getting in the water bucket.

This is Henry after telling us he just peed in the water bucket.

SJV Fest
As for most of us, a tradition not to be missed. I went on the Pharaoh's Fury ride (the boat that goes up and down) and didn't like it. I'm too old for this stuff now. Kinda of sad, but Cole is not a fan of heights or some of the bigger rides, so we can just hangout while Henry goes.

The carny did not wave back.

Hands are up, but they do not appear to be having any fun on this one.

Hen Bday

Henry is 8. He had several celebrations.

We went to Uncle Julio's for dinner and a chocolate pinata with Gregg and Debbie (a.k.a. the Normals). Lots of pics here. The pinata was very impressive.

The morning doughnut tradition at home is still a thing. The balloons in the room in the morning is still happening too. Henry actually requested it and we (Kristin) had to run out and get some balloons last minute.

I'm not sure when this cake happened, but it obviously did.

John and Chris (a.k.a. the Greats) came over to give Hen his present...a hermit crab tank. (Not appreciated). I agreed to maintain it, but I likely won't and they'll likely not survive long, so no big deal in the end.

Cole got one too and was super excited. Then the next morning he took his out to play and it pinched him. He cried. Then went to take the other one out to play. Surprise surprise. Pinched again. More tears. All at like 7AM. I told him to give it a rest.
