Bye Bye Holidays

The holiday season has ended. It felt very busy this year. I think because I was either sick or drinking and stuffing my face with delicious food. Lots going on though. We went to the Country Springs water park and on a separate occasion the Country Springs Christmas lights, hung out on Christmas Eve at the Great's, hosted a Christmas brunch, celebrated Christmas day at the Normal's, brought in the New Year at the Kroner's and at some point went back to the Normal's for a big holiday bash.

Cole has probably built about a zillion dollars in Lego's since Christmas. They got a ton of art supplies, all kinds of blocks and building stuff, they have been busy. They also got watches. Cole walks around in a robe most mornings. He looks so old with a watch and a robe. He also tells us what time it is way too often, like almost every minute.

Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve, Henry decided to write a list of Christmas gifts for his turtles. We did not oblige. Sorry turts.

Socks, which Henry will never wear. Nice try Grandma.

The newest of Henry's turtles. He named him One Hundred.

Christmas Day

I thought Cole was going to lose his voice with his celebrating after every little thing.

Hen did end up wrapping up some rocks for his turtles. Circley seems happy.

Cole's line of presents. He was very excited that it almost reached his room.

After Christmas

New Years Eve

New Years Day (or soon thereafter)

Cole's Winter Party at school (I think this was actually on the 22nd, so our chronological order is messed up. I just don't have the time or energy to rearrange this blog post).
Look at Normal Grandpa all dressed up

Things back to normal, except for Hen's illness.
Henry got the flu. No fun for anyone.

I posted this on Instagram. He just seems so over the top with a hat and hood and scarf and boots, etc.
