St. Nick, Bday Party, Snow Day

Surprisingly, St. Nick made his way over to our house and gave the boys some gifts. They received Nerf dart guns, shaving cream and razor sets, a book each and some candy. Sadly, Henry later chewed up two of the Nerf darts. It looked like we had a new puppy with little pieces of Nerf all over the place. (He also broke a remote control car Cole got for his birthday from Uncle Ben).

The boys absolutely love to pretend to shave in the tub.

We once again made a cake for Cole's birthday (and by "we" I mean Kristin). This year was a bowling theme. Sadly, we were not skilled enough to actually have a cake shaped like a bowling pin, without wasting a ton of cake, so we had to just draw one.

First layer of frosting. It looked real bad.

Henry spent a fair amount of time licking the icing off of this paper plate.

Finished product. Not too bad.

On Saturday we had Cole's birthday party at Bluemound Bowl. It was pretty hectic, trying to get a bunch of kids to take turns bowling, but I think they all had fun. It was pretty painful for the adults though. The kids threw the balls at a whopping 1 to 2 miles per hour, and at times the ball wouldn't even make it to the pins. Albeit, cost effective since they didn't even get through two full games.

We also made it to the H-D Motor Bar to decorate ginger bread houses and visit Santa.

The final products, and yes, I do have my own Advent calendar.

We managed to enjoy the snowfall for a little bit on Sunday as well. The boys had some new sleds they were excited to test out.

The weekend ended with a nice Henry disaster in the tub. He pooped. I just feel like the entire bathroom and child are ruined after an incident like this. Anyway, he really enjoyed getting further scrubbed in the sink.
