Busy Busy Busy

We had a very busy weekend and I over did on pictures, so beware.

Friday
On Friday we met Dustin, Amy and Zoey in the downtown Milwaukee area to take a trolley ride, which is really a bus painted and decorated like a trolley. The kids seemed to love it though. We did the full loop, stopping for ice cream.  We figured it probably felt nice going for a ride out of their car seats.

Cole and Henry loved running up and down this ramp. Cole also met a friend, Matthew, who didn't seem to have parents.

Saturday
Uncle Ben came over Saturday to visit the boys. We ended up walking over to the nearby park. We then headed back to the house and let Cole and Henry run through the sprinkler. We then had a nice visit with GG (everyone got ice cream so of course everyone was happy). I later ditched Kristin and met Joe to watch the Packer game.

Cole was super brave climbing pretty high up on the ropes.

Sunday
Admittedly, Sunday was a bit much. I'm still tired. We started off the day with brunch at Highlands Cafe with Aunt Jess, Other Grandpa and Great Grandma. We then drove home, packed up and drove to Okauchee Lake for a boat ride. Then dinner at Normal Grandma's and Bampa's house and finally home for bed! Probably doesn't sound like much but we were all very exhausted by the end of it.

Before brunch we found a river, bridge and some rocks. Always a fun mix.

Cole tried to go potty on the boat. Didn't end up happening, but he did decide to just go bottomless. I'm sure it felt nice to let the nuts breathe for awhile.

Cole going balls out on the boat.

Helping Bampa with his garden and eating beans and tomatoes off the vines has been a highlight of the summer.

Side Note
Kristin decided to volunteer me as the "Equipment" person at the boy's Preschool.  I'm not sure what that means, but Kristin initially described it as just volunteering with the school to help out with some fix-it/maintenance stuff at the school. Next thing you know I am on the School Board and have to speak at the upcoming Orientation meeting and bring a snack! I'm also sure they will be thrilled to find out that I'm no Handy Manny (man, I need to stop watching kid shows). I'll be the only Board member that has to bring their Dad to help out with their duties.

People should really remember to double check spelling. Below is a screenshot of the school's website. Nick does not really fuck equipment. That's a lie.
