August 2021

August was a big month for the Fuchs family. We went to the State Fair. The SJV Fest. We took a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains, which will be the next post.

The twins got potty trained and went to their first movie at the theatre (Paw Patrol). We all went to our first Milwaukee Milkmen baseball game.

The twins also had their preschool orientation and got to meet their teacher.

Cole had his middle school prep. I'm glad he doesn't seem real nervous about switching to a much bigger school. The 6:30 a.m. bus pick up is going to be brutal though. For him and Kristin and I.

Oh, and Lou used a porta potty for the first time. How exciting.

Seems like a funny way to get a haircut, but it works.

I wonder if Henry got something good.

Champions!

Not a great pic, but a reminder of the storm that came in while at the SJV Fest. It started to pour and portions of the parking lot flooded. Cole and Henry went to play some games, but had to come back right away because of the rain. Somehow they still managed to spend about $60.

Dinner and then State Fair with the Heerey's

We have previously searched everywhere in Fort Myers for an airbrush t-shirt shop with no luck. Then we just randomly passed one at the State Fair. Cole got a "Ballin" shirt and Henry got a "Wild Child" hat. I'm sure we'll post a pic of Hen in his hat eventually.

Got a box of cream puffs. Honestly I don't get the attraction. They're just not very good.

He wasn't bored for an hour, so that's cool.

Monsters!

Oh man. Looks like a legit gamer.

Gus is excited to start preschool.

Potty training is so much fun. Just ask Kristn.

Pooh Bear style

Lou thought it was hilarious to spread his cheeks and walk backwards towards me, butthole in full exposure.

Yikes. Get outta there Henry.

This is Cole's crew. Charlie, Will, Cole, Landon and Dylan. We felt like bad parents having Cole be the worst dressed for picture day. He just literally does not own one nice shirt.

Fuck he's getting old.

So nice to just be able to go wherever you want.

It was so hot this day. If there wasn't the candy drop from a helicopter we would have never stayed for the whole game.

Cole and Henry are in there somewhere

Cate took these three bowling. (And there's Henry's airbrushed hat)

Gross, but good job Lou.
