Two Twins Turn Two

The weekend before their birthday we had a small celebration at the Normal's house when Uncle Ben, Kim and Charlotte were in town. So many October birthdays - Grandpa Gregg, Uncle Ben, Gus & Louie, and me. There is a picture with everyone and a cake someplace but it didn't make it to this post.

Per Fuchs family tradition Gus & Louie were woken up with balloons in their bedroom. Later that day we had a lunch birthday party. After Gus and Lou went down for their nap we had a pumpkin carving party - maybe next year they can stay up for their whole party. 

Maybe next  year they will humor us and wear their birthday crowns too.

I also turned 40 this year. It was okay. I got treated to a Red Lobster dinner and got to hear Henry loudly point out that there were a lot of black people there. So that's cool.
