Rando Stuff

In recent Fuchs family news:

I let the boys play in the rain...

The boys doing what they love to do (Henry eating a snack, Cole playing Mario Kart. He's going to freak out when he sees how much better graphics have gotten since N64.)...

The boys can now make their own lunch. Henry made a ham and ketchup sandwich. I took a bite, It was disgusting. Cole made a PB&J...

I let the boys play in the mud. Our house is full of muddy hand prints that I'm sure I'll never wash off...

Cole lost his first tooth...

Not surprisingly Kristin went overboard as the Tooth Fairy. Cole and Henry each got a small pillow that has a pocket for when they lose teeth. Cole got $5, a balloon and candy. And a note from the Tooth Fairy. Not bad. We will certainly have to tone things down for the next tooth. Our budget can't handle $5 per tooth...

Henry has a new obsession - a made up friend called Boulder. He talks about Boulder constantly. Boulder is 16, was born and lives in New York and his parents live in Madison. Kristin even caught him talking in his sleep about Boulder. Other made up friends include Turtle Burtle and Space Lizard who traveled here by rocket ship and now lives in our radiators.

Last but not least, Cole is getting old and really starting to talk back. He was being fussy at dinner, so I told him he had to leave the table and that he wasn't going to get his Tooth Fairy candy. He stormed out. Then popped his head back in the kitchen, yelled something, and then screamed really loud (and got red in the face), "you block head."

I'm pretty sure that is the first time I have been called a block head.

Uncle Ben and Kim were in town for a wedding in Chicago so we were able to see them for 1 hour. It was a nice, quick visit. And Cole got to surprise them with his missing tooth so that was a highlight.

We also got cheap Brewer game tickets. No surprise that the Brew Crew lost. Sadly for the boys, there weren't even a lot of moments to cheer and clap. Highlights: Cole did a little dance to get on the big screen (he was pretty shy about it, so it didn't work). Henry tried to headbutt me and smashed his mouth on my chair. There was blood.

This is the most fun I've ever seen Kristin have at a Brewer game (sober).

Mouth smash ended the night of fun

The Best Easter EVER!!!

Per Cole it was the "Best Easter ever!" Granted, it is not hard to get Cole to say an event is the best ever, but I'm still happy we were able to spoil the boys and let them have some fun.

On Saturday we did the Elm Grove Easter egg hunt. There were only about a zillion kids there. The boys each got a good amount of eggs though. I gave them a pep talk to be aggressive on the way to the hunt, which I'm sure helped.

Just a boy and his morning coffee

The boys woke up around 5:15 a.m. or so itching to get Easter activities underway. I bet if we were a church going family they wouldn't have woke up so early and excited. To make matters worse, I was of course up late enjoying the Badger victory over those Kentucky bitches and Kristin was up waiting for me to come home to hide eggs and the Easter baskets. I did not come home in time.

We also threw eggs all over the yard. The boys loved running around finding them all (21 eggs each). It's a good tradition Gregg and Debbie started.

Peeps S'mores

The grandpas snugged up to watch the Badger's interview without listening to the constant chatters from the ladies in the living room. Smart.

Monday morning:  Hen put on his shell for watching TV.

New shirts.

Hard to see, but Cole is getting a new tooth. He's getting big quick (and we're getting old way too fast for my liking).
